Fitted to the drivers quarter light (pre facelift cars only) this decal was often removed by the dealer or simply hasn't survived being exposed to the sun for over 40 years.  Printed on clear vinyl.
 
Simply enough instruction to operate the handbrake...point it out to your mechanic next time it goes for an MOT so they don't get confused.
